This original acrylic painting depicts the road from St Ives to St Just (the B3306) in Cornwall, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the UK. The B3306 is a historic route, celebrated for its dramatic scenery and ever-changing landscape.

To the east, wild Cornish hills unfold, while to the west, farmland is carved into the land and defined by ancient granite markers. The land then drops away to steep cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Part way along the route sits Carn Galver, a striking reminder of Cornwall’s tin mining heritage.

This painting is inspired by the quiet joy of slow travel and exploration — taking your time, absorbing the landscape, and choosing the perfect place to stop and watch the sun set over the sea.

10x12 inch, acrylic on two small boards and mounted on a white washed cradle board.  Ready to hang.

Whilst every effort is made to photograph the artwork as closely as possible to the original, slight variations in colour may occur when viewed in person.
