I’m Angela Sunley, a British artist inspired by the beauty of the coast and countryside. I love painting landscapes that capture light, colour, and emotion — especially the wild coastline of Cornwall and the peaceful woodlands around Lichfield, Staffordshire.
My work begins outdoors, where I sketch, walk, and absorb the changing light and atmosphere. Back in my studio, these experiences evolve into paintings that celebrate nature’s rhythm, from windswept seascapes and rolling hills to quiet still-life studies.
Each piece is created to evoke a sense of calm, nostalgia, and connection — reminding us of the places that lift our spirits and the moments we want to keep hold of.
Alongside my original paintings, I also offer canvas prints — high-quality reproductions of my work that bring a touch of Cornwall, Lichfield, and the British landscape into your home. My collections are available online and through local galleries such as Bespoke Lichfield.
