The Castlebay Post Office, Isle of Barra

We got to stay at the Post Office a couple of times on our visits to the Isle of Barra.  Run at the time by the lovely Diane and Chris plus Spud the dog.  They are holidays we will always remember fondly.  Sitting, chatting and having spud curled up on my knee as I ate scones. The Post Office featured as a roofless building in the original Whiskey Galore (filmed on Barra) and it was fun to watch the film whilst sat in the now roof covered loft.
