Storm over Eriskay

An uncles trip to the Outer Hebrides only confirmed that it was somewhere we would love to travel to and explore.  This is a photograph that he took looking over to Eriskay from Barra.  You can travel the length of the Outer Hebrides from Vatersay up to the Butt of Lewis. Made up of lots of islands, it’s a trip of island hopping. Unfortunately we didn’t get dramatic weather in this way.  We had some beautiful days with blue skies and then Harris and Lewis was in low cloud where visibility was cut really short.  In fact at the Butt of Lewis, you could barely see anything, when I saw pictures of it later with the steep cliffs down to the sea, it was a little bit of a shock!
