NEW: Snow in the Peak District (2025)

This is the second painting inspired by our walk in the Peak District in November last year.  The snow had more or less disappeared where we live but as we headed up into the Peak District, although the roads clear there was still lots of snow across the countryside.  There is a wonderful walk from Hartington that heads south along the River Dove.  It’s so pretty and varied but this was the first time we had been in the snow.  It didn’t disappoint.  It made the lunch afterwards, in a cosy pub, all the more special.
