This painting captures the path winding its way to Gwynver beach.  It’s a dog friendly beach near Sennen Cove and Lands End.  We decided to go on a hot sunny summers day.  The car parking was full so we parked in a parking space on the main road and followed a public footpath across a field and through a tiny hamlet before turning towards the sea.  All of a sudden the path opened up and there was the turquoise waters of the sea.  All the guides we had read said it was a steep walk down and they weren’t joking but at the bottom was a wonderful space.  A white sandy beach, with lots to explore. The path with the Crocosmia lining the way and a glimpse of the sea was too good a view not to paint.
