Nearly at the beach

That feeling on a hot day, walking down from the road, through fields and narrow tracks, then the first view of the sea.  The blues almost unreal and finally the sound of the waves.  Safe in the knowledge that there is a good day ahead.
This is the path to Gwynver Beach near Sennen.  I’d painted Cornish Days a few years before which was a mix of some of my favourite places.  It was quite a lovely surprise to find a real place looking so similar.
