Blackthorn

Wandering the local tracks and footpaths, the first sign of blossom always lifts my spirits. As someone who lives for the summer months, there’s nothing quite like seeing the colour return after winter’s pause.

I spotted these blossoms on a walk from our home with my dog—the sunlight catching the white petals while the background fell into shadow. Too beautiful not to capture.
