Porthgwidden

One of the beaches of St Ives, Porthgwidden is small but beautiful.  Not as wild as the Atlantic facing Porthmeor but not as protected and calm as Porthminster.  At the top of the beach is a beautiful cafe/restaurant that has an amazing picture window looking out over the sea and towards Godrevy lighthouse.  This painting features the short but steep path down to the beach with the restaurant on the left. The old buildings being typical of those found in the older part of town.
