I began my art journey to support my mental health. I’ve always found peace in big skies and dramatic landscapes—painting the emotion and memories they hold.
But still life brought a new kind of calm. It became a study in mindfulness. A chance to slow down and really see—how light moves across a surface, how a single colour contains so many subtle shades, how a flower stem bends in water or how shadows can reflect unexpected light.
It’s not about perfection or detail, but about presence. Capturing the feeling, texture, and quiet beauty of everyday things.
Still life has grounded me and opened my eyes to the small wonders.
